Pink Ribbon Partners 2017
Boutique Beauty Sampling Bar at Cosmoprof Asia Cosmoprof Asia 2017 introduced the BOUTIQUE project (hand-picked sampling of beauty products) at 16 November 2017 in the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre. Participants can customise a box filled with 7 pieces of deluxe travel-sized samples sponsored by exhibitors for a minimum donation of HK$100. Donations collected from the project all went to the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation. |
CX Fly Pink To show their passionate and support to raise breast cancer awareness and the research work in breast cancer, a group of female pilots at Cathay Pacific Airways decided to launch a fundraising and awareness campaign called "Fly Pink". Pilots wore a pair of distinctive pink epaulettes (shoulder rank bars) for the month of October and made donations to support the campaign. Esprit To support the work of HKBCF, Esprit introduced a limited edition charity pink bottle to raise the awareness of breast protection in October 2017. Redeem the bottle at HK$99 and part of the proceeds were donated to HKBCF. |
Estee Lauder On 26 September 2017, to raise public breast health awareness and to spread the important message of early detection, over 400 HKBCF's volunteers and Estee Lauder's employees created the world's largest sticker puzzle in Macpherson Stadium. The puzzle, which was 250 sq. metre large and included over 100,000 stickers with pink ribbon patterns, was recorded as one of the Guinness World's Record 2017. Estee Lauder has been our long time supporter since 2007. |
Headragon In celebration of the World Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October 2017, Headragon sincerely presented an 18kt handcrafted gold pendant set with a Pink Sapphire to raise funds for the HKBCF. For each sale of the pink sapphire 18 kt gold pendant, $2000 were donated to support women rebirth, love and hope (fighting breast cancer). |
International Health and Beauty General Union The Charity Fashion Show & Auction was held at the International Beauty & Health Brand Festival Asia on 17 November 2017. Part of the proceedings were donated to the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation (HKBCF). Ms. Louisa Tsang, member of the HKBCF's Breast Cancer Support Centre Committee, attended the ceremony and received a total donation of HK$84,000 on behalf of the HKBCF. |
Ladies' Recreation Club Our long time supporter Ladies’ Recreation Club (LRC) hosted a series of events in October - the Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Fundraising efforts started with the Mahjong Tournament, and was followed by the Aqua Circuit, Tennis Tournament, and concluded with the Charity Bridge. A total of HK$102,000 was raised through these Pink Ribbon events to support the work of the HKBCF. |
Mag Store Charity sales of hand rolls were held on May 17 and August 10 2017 at Mag Store Yau Ma Tei and Causeway Bay Branch respectively. Public was able to purchase a hand roll of salmon / eel (with limited quotas) at an attractive selling price of HK$1, by either "Like" the MagStore's facebook page or follow Mag Store's Instagram. Mag Store would donate HK$10 to HKBCF for each hand roll. |
Mary Kay Big thanks to Mary Kay for becoming our Pink Ribbon Partner for five consecutive years! In support of HKBCF’s breast health education, support services and research & advocacy efforts, and to continue Mary Kay Ash’s pink mission, from 12 May to 30 June 2017, Mary Kay hosted a charity sale, in which US$1.00 was donated to HKBCF for each unit of the limited edition Beauty that Counts® Baked Cheek Powder sold. |

SAMSUNG To support the work of HKBCF, SAMSUNG joined us as Pink Ribbon Partner and held a charity sale. Part of the proceedings of the sale of Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ was donated to HKBCF. During the promotion period, SAMSUNG invited famous artist, Chrissie CHAU, to film a promotional video, promoting message about breast health awareness to public. |
SOGO Department Store SOGO Department Store hosted a charity sales campaign, “Live in Pink”, from 25 October to 7 November 2017 on 2/F Ladies Wear Department in SOGO Causeway Bay. To support Hong Kong Breast Fund, SOGO held a charity event on 19 October 2017 at 2/F Ladies Fashion Department, SOGO Causeway Bay, New Wing. International model QiQi and honorary medical advisor from HKBCF also joined and helped spread the message of breast cancer awareness and the importance of regular breast health screening. |
Tayma Fine Jewellery The Tayma Fine Jewellery’s Pink Party was held on 20 October 2017. The party included special purchases such as limited edition of healing crystals, handmade silk agate clutch bags, Floating Islands watches and agate coasters, starting price from HKD$500. Part of the proceedings from the event went to HKBCF. |
Tricor Services Limited Tricor Services Limited sincerely supported the work of the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation by raising fund during their annual Tricor Seminar at 20 November 2017. Tricor Services Limited made a total donation of HK$60,000 to HKBCF to support our work to mitigate breast cancer threat to local community. |
Wacoal Hong Kong Company Limited In support of breast cancer awareness and the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation (HKBCF), Wacoal Hong Kong Company Limited initiated a Pink Month campaign by putting donation boxes and breast self-examination booklets at their stores and franchised counters in October 2017, the international Pink Month. |
